Dalry Thistle have agreed to place ex-Greenock captain Tommy Docherty on the transfer list.

Tommy is looking for a club closer to his Greenock base.

After a meeting with the club's management, midfielder Callum Davidson has also been placed on the transfer list.

Manager Alan Cotton has signed defender Drew Russell from Largs Thistle and wide player Darryl MacDonald from Pollock Juniors.

• Kris Gilhooley and Graeme Barbour have both signed contract extensions which ties them to the club until 2013.

The club have concluded the transfer of goalkeeper Christopher Treacey to Cambuslang Rangers. We would like to thank Chris for his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.

The club would like to confirm the transfer of midfielder Thomas Maitland to Girvan FC. We wish him all the best at his new club and thank him for his time at Dalry FC.

Steven Chappel has been appointed as goalkeeping coach and fitness & conditioning coach. Steven has a wealth of coaching experience and played for several clubs in both the senior and junior ranks.

Over the festive period Dalry have played four friendlies, allowing new manager Alan Cotton to have a look at his squad and keep match fitness levels up. This evening Dalry beat District League side Kello 7-1 in preparation for their league game against Thorniewood on Saturday.

There were no winners in last weeks super six.  This weeks prize fund is £200 if you would like to have a go contact any committee member.

The club would like to thank all who attended the annual sportsman's dinner.  It was a very entertaining evening and raised a lot of money for the club.  Special thanks goes to the after dinner speakers Andy Goram and Jimmy Stirling and to Hugh Drennon who chaired the evening. Also thanks to  suzy's cafe who provided the caterinng for the night and to all the bar staff for their efforts. 

Dalry have been drawn away to  Broxburn Athletic in the second round of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup 29th October.

Garry Gillies, Harry Travers and Billy Davidson are no longer with the club.  Everyone at Dalry Thistle wishes them all the best in the future,

Lance Pearce has signed with the club from Partick Thistle and Thomas Docherty has joined after 14 years with Greenock Juniors.
